Where to keep money for emergency fund

* Beginner Alert *
I have saved up some money to serve me in times of emergency. Husband has a credit card and his own emergency fund too so, time is not a factor. Although, would like to be able to withdraw in a day or two and would love to get some okay returns on it too. Right now, money is parked into a savings bank account so, looking to invest it somewhere.

Like the FranklinĀ Templeton fund and have looked in Axis bank Liquid Fund too. Ā If I were to invest right now:

1) which one would be better
2) Is there is another better option out there I have not looked in to.

Any help is much appreciated and even tips on how to decide in future are welcome.

Thank you šŸ™‚

FD is the best Option.Since it is an Emergency Fund you need to get it as fast as possible in need.Do an Online FD and break it immediately in need. For example 2 Lakh Emergency Fund you can make 1 Lakh FD and 1 Lakh inĀ Current account
